Description
Lughnasadh is celebrated on August 1st and is the first of three harvest festivals in the Celtic calendar; the grain harvest. It honours the Celtic God Lugh. A symbol of Lugh, often called John Barleycorn is sacrificed in traditional celebrations at this time. It is a time to review your ongoing projects and the progress you are making.
Use this meditation on or around Lughnasadh. Try eating a meal containing corn (or other grain products) after the meditation.
Spoken meditation in a clear, British accent, with gentle background music. Run time: 26 mins
