Tomorrow's Monday Mantra will be to Indra, the Kin Tomorrow's Monday Mantra will be to Indra, the King of the Gods.

Indra represents the strength to face difficulty, the courage to act, and the ability to lead ourselves through the storm.

He is connected with storms, rain, thunder, battle and leadership, so this mantra works well for:

* courage when you feel overwhelmed
* confidence without arrogance
* decisive action
* protection in difficult situations
* finding strength when life feels stormy

I've been at the centre this morning while the fir I've been at the centre this morning while the fire alarm system had it's 6 monthly service.

Those of you who know some of my story will appreciate this. There was a mahoosive spider in the kitchen at work. And the fire alarm tester wouldn't go in and do his testing because of it.

So I - me, Mahala, the one who had life-limiting arachnophobia before discovering sound healing - evicted this very large, very fast friend out of the window, so the test could be finished and I could get some lunch!

😂🙏🏼
Monday Mantra to Agni, the God of Fire. This isn Monday Mantra to Agni, the God of Fire.

This isn't a destructive fire, rather this is the fire of transformation, of digestion, of clarity, of purification and of devotion.

Fire can warm, illuminate and purify. It can also help us release what we no longer need, so we can move forward with more honesty and purpose.

Om Agnaye Namaḥ
Salutations to Agni, the sacred fire.

Also a dedication to the LGBTQIA+ community of Berlin
Tomorrow's Monday Mantra is all about Agni, the Go Tomorrow's Monday Mantra is all about Agni, the God of Fire.

Agni represents the fire that transforms. Not just outer fire, but inner fire: digestion, motivation, clarity, discipline, and the ability to burn through what is no longer helpful.

I've just been reminded that five years ago, I ble I've just been reminded that five years ago, I blessed my feet with cacao:

These feet have danced in ballet shoes, tap shoes, Latin shoes and barefoot in the rain. They have paddled in oceans and rivers, streams and lakes. They have been buried in sand and mud. They’ve walked on eggshells and burning coals.

They’ve been tortured by pointe shoes and stiletto heels; broken by my clumsiness and the odd gong stand. They’ve been massaged, soaked with herbs, ignored and cared for.

For 52 years, they have supported me. They have walked me into adventures and walked me away from situations, relationships and jobs that were not serving me.

Five years ago, I blessed them with cacao. I thanked them for everything they had carried me through and promised that they would walk barefoot in new lands and find new adventures.

They have.

Since then, they have walked barefoot through Guatemala, Morocco and Italy, explored the land around my property in France and carried me through changes I could not yet have imagined when I wrote the original post.

They’re older now. So am I. We haven't finished finding new places to go.

And I am still trying not to break any more of their bones.
Monday Mantra to Parvati for strength, shown as pa Monday Mantra to Parvati for strength, shown as patience, devotion, resilience, self-respect, choice to keep returning to what matters.

Om Śrī Pārvatyai Namaḥ

aum shree par-va-tyai na-ma-ha

Salutations to blessed Parvati
Tomorrow's Monday Mantra is to Parvati, consort to Tomorrow's Monday Mantra is to Parvati, consort to Lord Shiva.

Parvati is wonderful for:

patience, devotion, resilience, self-discipline, emotional steadiness, loving strength, and staying committed to what matters.

She is not “soft” in a weak way. She is mountain-born. Her strength is steady, enduring and deeply embodied. She shows the power of devotion that is not passive: devotion as focus, choice, discipline and love.

I saw this question this morning: If you could era I saw this question this morning: If you could erase one trend from history, what would it be?

Well, here's my answer: the idea that healing has to look calm, pretty, and perfectly lit.

You know what I mean. White clothes. Peaceful smile. A life that has no laundry, no bills, no difficult memories, and no one asking what’s for dinner.

But real healing is not often like that.

Often it is - and looks - messy.
Often it is uncomfortable.
And often it is realising you are stuck in the same pattern again and deciding, gently but firmly, that you do not want to keep living there.

This is one of the reasons I love sound healing.

Not because it makes everything instantly peaceful, but because it gives the body somewhere to begin. Sound can help us soften what has been held tightly, bring awareness to what sits underneath the surface, and support the release of old patterns that words alone do not always reach.

And healing does not have to be photogenic to be real.
Monday Mantra to Shiva, the God of Destruction. Us Monday Mantra to Shiva, the God of Destruction. Use this mantra for when you need steadiness, detachment, clarity, or support through change.

Om Namah Shivaya

Embody this version of Shiva:

I can be still.
I can release what is finished.
I can trust the space that comes after letting go.
Tomorrow's Monday Mantra is one to Shiva again! Th Tomorrow's Monday Mantra is one to Shiva again! This time though, we're looking at Shiva in his ascetic guise.

Shiva is the God of Destruction, which sounds scary, but needn't be. Shiva’s destruction isn't random chaos. It's the dissolving of what has reached its end, so something truer can remain.

We'll be focusing on stillness, release, transformation, and trusting change.
