Sound has been used as a tool for healing and transformation for thousands of years, and today more and more people are discovering its incredible potential. If you’ve ever felt drawn to gongs, singing bowls, or the soothing vibration of the drum, you might be wondering how to take that passion further. The good news is, becoming a sound healer is a journey that anyone can begin, with the right sound healing training, heart, and dedication.
At Earthtones, we believe sound healing is not just about playing an instrument. It’s about holding safe space, understanding energy, and learning how vibration interacts with the body, mind, and spirit. A sound healer guides others into deep relaxation, helping to release stress, shift emotional blockages, restore balance and even help with physical pain.
The first step is proper training. Our accredited sound healing training courses cover everything from the science of vibration to hands-on techniques with Himalayan bowls, gongs, drums, tuning forks and voice. You’ll gain the confidence to work with groups and individuals, and you’ll be supported by an experienced tutor who has spent decades in the field.
Many of our students begin their training out of personal interest, then find themselves stepping into a new career as practitioners. Whether you’re looking to integrate sound healing into an existing therapy practice or start something entirely new, the path is rewarding both spiritually and professionally. We have a range of courses from a weekend course covering one instrument, to a full 200-hour course through which you can achieve the Practitioner Level Diploma in Sound Healing qualification.

If you feel the call, I’d love to welcome you onto one of the sound healing courses at Earthtones. It could be the start of a journey that not only transforms your life, but the lives of those you touch with sound.
