For singing bowl therapy using the method taught here at Earthtones, you’ll need a felt mallet, or “donger” as we affectionately call it! We offer several different kinds, all of which we have tested and approved.

This red felt mallet is very popular with out students. It’s handmade, and perhaps a little rough around the edges, but it works really well, and gets lovely sounds from the bowls. This mallet is fairly traded and produced in Nepal.

It’s approx 27cm long, and the head is 6cm in diameter. The handle comes in light and dark wood and is chosen at random.
