Description
Kelele shakers take their name from the Swahili word for “noise”, which feels very fitting for these lively little instruments.
They are made with a simple wooden barrel on a stick, filled with gravel to create a crisp, high-pitched “cha-cha” sound. Bright, rhythmic and easy to play, they are great for adding texture to sound sessions, ceremony, meditation, rhythm work, or music-making.
Length is approx 21cm, and the barrel is 6cm in diameter.
